Top Sports Facilities to Shine at 2024 National Sports Safety and Security Conference





Six standout sports facilities will be honored for their leadership in safety and security at the 2024 National Sports Safety and Security Conference & Exhibition, held from July 9-11 in Phoenix, AZ. This prestigious event is hosted by the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4) at The University of Southern Mississippi.

Celebrating Innovation and Excellence



The Facility of Merit Award recognizes sports venues that go above and beyond in ensuring safety and security. Sponsored by Prevent Advisors, a leading security consulting firm, this award highlights innovative approaches and significant achievements in the field.

Honorees of 2024

The six facilities being recognized are:

  • Freedom Field – Alvin ISD
  • GEODIS Park
  • Gillette Stadium
  • Petco Park
  • Pinnacle Bank Arena
  • Track Shack

Award Ceremony



The awards will be presented during the Annual Awards Luncheon on the second day of the conference, sponsored by Evolv Technology, known for its advanced weapons detection systems.

The 15th Annual National Sports Safety and Security Conference & Exhibition will be held at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa, expecting over 450 attendees and 70 exhibitors. This event gathers professionals from various sports and entertainment sectors, all dedicated to advancing safety and security.
